Terms of Service

Last updated 17 August 2026

By downloading or using Arcs, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The license we give you

Arcs grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use, in line with the App Store Terms of Service.

Your content is yours

You own everything you bring into Arcs — your recordings, notes, files, and the Reads and decks Arcs helps you make. We claim no ownership of your content and, because it is processed on your device, we do not access it. You are responsible for the material you record and for having the right to record it.

The on-device model download

To deliver its intelligence privately, Arcs downloads an on-device model (approximately 2.1 GB) after you install the app. We recommend downloading over Wi-Fi. Arcs requires a recent iPhone with enough memory to run the model; on unsupported devices some features may be unavailable.

Subscriptions and purchases

Arcs is free to try — you can create a limited number of Reads and a deck at no cost. To continue beyond the free allowance, Arcs offers:

  • Monthly — US $9.99 per month.
  • Annual — US $69.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial.
  • Lifetime — US $199 one-time purchase.

Prices may vary by region and are shown at purchase. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms.

Acceptable use

Don't use Arcs to break the law, to record people without a right to do so, or to interfere with the app's operation or security.

Provided "as is"

Arcs is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI-generated Reads and decks may contain errors — review anything important before you rely on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcs and its maker are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; when we do, we'll revise the date above. Continuing to use Arcs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
