In brief: open Record, place the iPhone where it can hear the room, and tap Finish when the meeting ends. Arcs processes the conversation on your device.
Before the meeting
- Make sure the device has enough battery and free storage.
- Place it close to the centre of the conversation when possible.
- Avoid covering the microphones with paper, fabric or a case flap.
- You do not need a network connection. Recording and understanding work in Flight Mode.
After you tap Finish
The recording remains available in Notes as a browsable source. Arcs creates a Read of the full conversation, surfaces the Threads running through it and identifies questions worth considering Next.
For private meetings
Arcs processes the recording on your device. It has no data servers. Always follow the consent and recording laws that apply where you are and the policies of the organisation you are meeting with.
