Arcs has no data servers. Its intelligence and processing stay on your hardware. Optional sync uses your private iCloud account through CloudKit.

A different posture for useful intelligence

Most intelligent software begins by asking you to hand over the material. Arcs begins with the capability already inside the Apple device you own. That makes privacy a property of the architecture rather than a promise added afterward.

Built on Apple technologies

Arcs uses the Apple Speech framework for on-device transcription and puts the Neural Engine, MLX and Metal to work for understanding and creation. It is device-aware and RAM-aware: a roomier Mac can do more, while an iPhone runs exactly what it can do well.

Private without becoming isolated

CloudKit can sync your arcs between iPhone, iPad and Mac through your Apple ID. Arcs never needs its own data server to make that possible.
